Familiar Faces???

Donald Bishop (image left) as he appeared in 1950 at his Averill High School graduation and 2008 Averill High School Junior Ben P. (image right) They say everyone has a twin out there somewhere! Note: Thumbing through the book "Chronicles of Good Will Home 1889 - 1989" our after-school program group was shocked by the similarities. We knew right off that we had to show Ben and ask if we could use his image in our gazette.. Thankfully he let us use it.

Team Roundel Gazette:

What a great Blog Site!! Kudo's!

How I laughed while reading the resemblance between Ben and beloved Don Bishop - who epitomized all that is good about the Good Will Idea.

Don was an extraordinary mentor; orator; and master at the art of listening. Don also loved to sing and could often be heard singing louder (and sometimes off key) at the Good Will pep rally's.

Don was nearly a perfect poster child for beloved Good Will Hinckley ~ despite being a Winthrop boy. Don, like many others know what us Whitney boy's already know -- Whitney Cottage rules!

Ben P., embrace those ideals that made Don Bishop such an extraordinary pillar of his community. Live the palpable traits that embody the Roundel - and you too can know no limit to the successes you aspire!

Great job on the Blog - The Roundel Gazette! Keep up the great work!

Best,
Skip, 89'
